The final round of the US Open may have not been that intriguing to the casual sports fan as there were no marquee stars within the sport like Tiger Woods, Mickelson, McIlroy or even a personality like Bubba Watson. It was Jim Furyk trying to hold on for dear life against a bunch of golfers who were to far back to make up the distance expect for Webb Simpson. Despite the fact he is ranked 14th in the world heading in the event not to many people had heard about the second year pro.

So when he was accepting his trophy for winning the event and giving the usual speech with Bob Costas of NBC on the course one fan decided to pull of a stunt that many fans are now considering the most entertaining part of the day. Also the reaction Mike Davis head of the USGA was great. He was the fellow that immediately removed the fellow. The look on his face was priceless, completely shocked by what took place.

What I don’t understand from this situation is the security. How bad is it? How on earth do they allow a goofball wearing that attire to even get close enough to what was taking place on the course?

This man is no stranger to pulling of stunts of this nature at high profile events he goes by the name of Jungle Bird and is trying to push his cause of deforestation. This guy can talk all day long about how this is done for his deforestation cause. But, I am not buying it for a seconds it’s nothing more then a excuse to justify his actions. Come on really!!! If you are serious about deforestation how does pulling off stunts like this help your cause? 99% of society thinks your a clown so how on earth are they supposed to take you seriously and want to even listen to what you are saying?

Just admit you are an attention whore wanting to get your 30 seconds of fame. At least what you do is comical and original so at least credit is given there.
