The Islanders have been the laughing stock of the NHL over the past decade. It’s become even more of a joke since Charles Wang purchased the team in 2007. It’s gotten to the point where it’s now straight up embarrassing for what remains of the faithful Islander fans.

It’s one thing if an organization has always been awful like the LA Clippers. But, considering the Isles won the cup four straight years in the 70′s marking one of the greatest dynasties the NHL and all of sports they have done a complete 180 over the past 15-20 years.

The current 13 game slide the Isles are going through caused play by play announcer Howie Rose to lost it a bit and make some negative comments towards the organization.

Since those comments have gone viral and become extremely popular Rose knows the whole world heard what he said. He’s now come out and issued this apology:

Whether he meant to say it or not on air. Technical issues an all no one can argue with his frustration & anger towards the Islanders.

I hate the way he has to say I didn’t mean to say this just to save his job. Because you know deep down inside he has a lot to say negatively about the Islanders. And they deserve it.

Since I don’t work for a network and have to be biased to keep a job I will pick up where Rose left off and explain why the Islanders are beyond pathetic.
