The world loves an athlete at the top of his game. When said athlete is funny to boot, it’s pretty standard that he has us eating out the palm of his hand.

For whatever reason, one of the funniest things athletes can do is act like normal people. I have no idea why this is such a novelty to us, but it never fails. Just think of Peyton Manning’s Monday Morning QB commercials or the Nike Goalies.

For fashion week, GQ made a hilarious video of Rondo working at their office. His narration of the events and what a difficult time he had would make even the biggest Celtics hater smile.

Eating a cupcake for lunch, hidden alone in the clothing racks? If it’s an overweight, single woman in her 40’s its just sad. But when it’s a successful, young athlete at the top of his game, it’s gold.

If you’re a fan of Rondo or just of comedy, this is a must-see video. It almost makes you wish there would be another lockout. The viral videos these guys come up with are definitely better than most of regular season play.
