Rangers Senators Game Has Assault on Ice and Gatorade Cooler
heck out this mayhem ensue:
Yes by the rules of the league Brandon Dubinsky was guilty for interfering in the fight. But, this was done to try and help out his teammate Brian Boyle who was clearly on the receiving end of some punches in which he never even both reacted. The refs should no better to stop Carkner from throwing hay-makers when Boyle didn’t even fight back. If the ref isn’t capable of doing his job which is maintaining a certain level of sanity on the ice then I see nothing wrong with a teammate dealing with the situation in a mature way like Dubinsky.
It’s even more appalling the refs couldn’t make an exception on this rule with all the BS and inconsistency we see at every level of officiating in these playoff games. I don’t blame Dubinsky one bit for taking out some anger on the gatorade tank.
Wake up NHL refs this is getting even more embarrassing as each game goes by.
