Referee Says God Dammit Live on NFL Broadcast (video)
A very funny moment occurred during the Dolphins Colts game today as referee Tony Corrente was not happy with some of the work his co ref was doing on the field. The CBS crew broadcasting the game happened to catch some of the audio interaction between the two which had the entire viewing audience here Corrente say “God Dammit”. Below is the video of what occurred:
Personally I see nothing wrong with this whatsoever. All it’s doing is showing the emotion of Corrente trying to do his job correctly, pointing out some of the errors to his co-ref. Probably something that more refs should do due to the overall ineptness often shown on the job.
At first I never even thought much of this at all. Until I watched the video several times and couldn’t help but notice the nauseating tone of Kevin Harlan apologizing for what took place from the CBS production crew. Calm down Kev it’s really no big deal, I’m sure most of the viewing audience was not offended; rather entertained laughing like myself. Furthermore, if there was the right demographic for an audience that would be tolerable towards this “offensive” word it most likely would come from those that watch the NFL.
